Strakur Fish Houses

Strakur Fish Houses

Pictured is the Strakar model 1206

The Strakur line of fish houses is a welded aluminum framed insulated fish house built for boys to play and stay in while on the ice. The base model is 12′ x  6′ and comes in different sizes and widths. Add some windows or change the door size to use it for many other uses, such as a vendor wagon, guest house, handicapped tiny house, hunting cabin and more. The drop deck feature overcomes the challenge for access for handicapped people to enter the fish house as it will drop down to sit on the ice or ground as needed with minimal ramps required.

Strakur is Icelander and means “boy or lad” and is also a name for an Icelandic horse we know. They are versatile and suited to many many tasks, trails, and gaits.
